Fuel Efficiency & Maintenance Tracker — Version B-01

🚀 Quick Start Guide

  1. Start by importing your previous JSON file if you already have one (click "Import Data")
  2. Add either fuel logs or service records during your session
  3. View real-time statistics on the dashboard
  4. Export JSON before leaving — your data only exists in your browser
  5. Next session: import the same file first before adding new entries
  6. Use the exported file for spreadsheet analysis or backup
💡 Pro Tip: Always export your JSON after each session. Without export, clearing browser data will permanently delete your history.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I clear my browser data?

All your fuel and service logs will be permanently deleted. That's why we strongly recommend exporting your JSON file regularly.

Can I use this on multiple devices?

Yes! Export the JSON from one device and import it on another. Your data follows you.

Is there a cloud backup?

No — by design, this app is zero-telemetry. All data stays on your device. You control backups via the Export feature.

What currency should I use?

Enter all costs in your local currency. The app doesn't assume any specific currency symbol.

Why does "Since Last Service" show a warning icon?

It appears when a service was logged at a higher odometer than your current reading — meaning you may have missed logging some fuel entries after that service. The app still shows the absolute distance to avoid confusion.

Is my data shared with anyone?

Never. This app has zero telemetry. No data ever leaves your browser. No analytics, no tracking, no servers.
